Under Maintenance
We deeply apologize for interrupting your reading but Vendetta is currently undergoing some important maintenance! You may experience some layout shifts, slow loading times and dififculties in navigating.
Before the start of the season, the Vendetta team put together a list of the 20 best point guards in the NBA. Some of the members who voted have departed which they will regret later. I can’t wait to rub it in their faces when the time comes and never welcome them back. I might be more excited for that than I was to laugh at everyone who thought Mitchell Trubisky was going to be good.
Anyway, back to the original story. There was one opinion I had that I was mocked, ridiculed, and laughed at for. I put Fred VanVleet inside my top ten point guard list. Not a single other blogger even put him inside the top 20. I just want to know if those other people are ready to apologize to VanVleet and I?
The Raptors lost Kawhi Leonard and are the two seed. VanVleet’s emergence as a real impact starter has softened the blow. The former Wichita State product is averaging 17.3 points, 6.7 assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game. VanVleet also has an effective field goal percentage of 50.4. A big pay day is coming and it will be well deserved.
Forget about top ten point guard, you’re telling me our guys didn’t vote VanVleet inside the top 20? That’s exactly what I’m telling you. It’s okay to be wrong. It’s another thing to not take accountability for it. John Wall got voted 14th and that guy hasn’t played a game. Mike Conley got voted 5th and that guy is washed. Derrick White doesn’t even start!?!?! Clean it up, fellas. Send VanVleet and I your regards. We’re waiting.
