DeAndre Hopkins To Sign With The Tennessee Titans
DeAndre Hopkins is putting an end to his free-agent saga, with the superstar receiver signing with the Tennessee Titans, giving them a huge offensive jolt to pair with Derrick Henry. ESPN NFL reporter Dianni Russini confirmed the reports Sunday.
3x All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is expected to sign with the Tennessee Titans, per sources. This is new Titans GM Ran Carthon’s first big splash. @DougKyed the first to report.

The former Cardinals and Texans wideout will be the No. 1 guy for a receiving group that desperately needs it. Tennessee went 7-10 last season due to many reasons, one of which was a very limited and sometimes bad passing attack.
Whether it’s the veteran Ryan Tannehill or rookie Will Levis under center, they will both benefit greatly from throwing to one of the best receivers in the game.
Despite a down year due to injuries, Hopkins showed he has plenty left in the tank. In nine games during 2022, he put up 717 yards and three touchdowns for a bad Cardinals team. Those stats on a 17-game pace would finish at 1,354 yards and five touchdowns. Those are still elite numbers for a guy that just turned 31-years-old.
There were rumors of many teams and former teammates having interest in Hopkins. However, he’s gonna get a fresh start in a different conference.
The AFC South is pretty much a toss-up. I personally have Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars as my favorites, but this move definitely helps the Titans’ chances. Clearly, D-Hop will have a downgrade at quarterback compared to Kyler Murray.
However, having one of the best running backs alongside him could absolutely make his job easier. Furthermore, this helps the depth chart by giving second-year receiver Treylon Burks less pressure and defensive attention.
Personally, I think the division will be decided in the Jaguars and Titans’ head-to-head matchups. If one team can get a regular season sweep over the other that could prove to be instrumental.
DeAndre Hopkins at last put an end to his free agency. He’s joining Mike Vrabel and company with the Tennesee Titans.
