Dave Portnoy Will Never Do Cameo
The idea behind Cameo is cool, pay a little bit of money and get a video from your favorite celebrity or athlete, but Dave Portnoy will never be featured on their platform. After numerous requests, Portnoy continues to turn them down and even mock them publically.
The thing with Portnoy is he doesn’t hold back. He doesn’t pull punches and often makes things public to prove his point. On an episode of The Dave Portnoy Show With Eddie and Co. he ripped them because they kept “bothering him”
” Everytime Cameo sends me an e-mail or asks me to do it, I am going to take a shot. I have said poltiely “no” Cameo a milltion times. “Hey, if you do this, we will put it towards the Barstool Fund”, it is an end-around. If you don’t want to be scumbags, just donate to the Barstool Fund and don’t put string attached.”

The bottom line is he just doesn’t need the extra money like some of the other personalities at Barstool. Frank The Tank is one of the highest-earning creators on Cameo. He is not their only content creator on the site. People like Tommy Smokes, Ben Mintz, and their Barstool Outdoors hire Sydnie Wells.
KFC is their Barstools biggest name on Cameo, but he has a different financial situation than his younger coworkers.
