More names are coming. Make sure to check back in later. Initial reports from the NY Post indicated that 20 names were being let go. This post will be updated to reflect all of those names once that news comes out. It’s a dark day for ESPN.
It should be mentioned once again. All of this is just to cut costs for the new Pat McAfee show. Will it be worth it? I have my doubts. Mostly because if ESPN sticks its nose where it doesn’t belong with creative control, the show will fail there. Given the personality of McAfee, that certainly cannot be ruled out.
