Can Someone Explain To Me What The Raiders Are Trying To Accomplish?

Can we just have a quick chat about the Las Vegas Raiders? I promise it won’t take long. I just have one simple question that anyone associated with the Raiders needs to answer.

Please explain to me what the Raiders are trying to accomplish in this current moment. That’s all I want to know.

The Raiders are currently 3-4. They’re not tanking. They’re not trying to win either. Just a team that’s stuck in their own stupidity. For the record, I don’t hate the Raiders. I love the brand and the colors. I just hate their approach. That’s all.

Yes, I’ll fully admit I’m bitter. I should be. I’m offended that this organization didn’t call me after the failures of Gruden/Mayock. I called out their awful draft classes year after year and was proven right. You would have thought after the Alex Leatherwood debacle, they would have called me. Instead, they gave the job to Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler.

I have irrefutable evidence that I would have done better than the Gruden/Mayock regime. I guess I can say the same about the McDaniels/Ziegler pairing because what they’re doing right now is almost worse. Where do the list of mistakes end? Let’s just run through some of the important ones.

A: Taking Tyree Wilson ahead of Jalen Carter is comical. I tried to make this clear predraft. Carter was the best player . A few weeks later, Carter is an overwhelming favorite for Rookie of the Year. It’s an unforgivable mistake and a mistake Trey wouldn’t have made.

B: What was the point of the Jimmy Garoppolo signing? He’s predictably hurt again and now you’re trotting out 800-year-old Brian Hoyer instead of getting Aiden O’Connell valuable reps. WTF is wrong with you people?

C: How about the wide receiver room? McDaniels hates Hunter Renfrow for no reason. They won’t trade Davante Adams and would rather keep him out of sheer fear.

Forget about breaking it down by position groups. This offense is broken. The Raiders rank 27th in yards per game (284.1) and 30th in points scored (16). What is the purpose of McDaniels if you’re going to give him his former Patriots and they still can’t score?

I couldn’t imagine rooting this team in its current state. I genuinely don’t know how Mark Davis sleeps at night knowing that he’s doing absolutely nothing other than wasting our time. This is one of the cornerstone franchises of the NFL and they act like a minor league baseball team. I don’t know what Davis does on a daily basis but someone needs to tell him there are a lot of people that can put a better product on the field. It’s almost impossible to not do better than the current regime. A five-year-old could pick names out of hats and do a better job and I’m not being facetious.
