Brian Flores Says He’s Not Auditioning Tua Tagovailoa

With Tua Tagovailoa starting last week against the Rams, there’s already speculation of how the Dolphins will proceed with at QB. Despite playing decent against the Rams, people wonder if Tua is the guy for the Dolphins and that the 10 games to end the season is an audition for the quarterback position. Brain Flores wanted to end any notion of that.

“I’m comfortable with what comes out of these 10 games,” Flores said, via Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post. “Since I’ve been here, everybody has heard me talk about the development of players. Improvement on a daily basis. I just don’t see how someone close to the Dolphins’ thinking could see that. And say this would be a 10-game audition. I’m not sure who or where that came from.”

Any speculation that the Dolphins would move off of Tua Tagovailoa after one year is just plain dumb. Dolphins aren’t going back to the quarterback well after this year when they have numerous holes to fix on their team. The Dolphins play hard for their Head Coach Brian Flores. There’s no doubt that any addition and Tua will buy into that culture to be a great team. They are a budding playoff team in the AFC.

Stop the bullshit, and buy into the fact that Tua is good. He will be better than Ryan Fitzpatrick if he isn’t already. The Dolphins are well on their way to a playoff berth if they don’t take everyone by surprise and win the AFC East. Tua will be an excellent QB for years to come, leading the Dolphins to the most success they have had in a while.
