Bill Simmons Refuses To Acknowledge He Was Dead Wrong About Jaylen Brown

This is me being 100% honest. I would love to punch Bill Simmons in the face. I truly would. However, I actually am starting to feel bad for him. He already admitted that he’s getting old and is out of touch with reality. I’m starting to think the guy is just senile and bitter. Simmons needs serious help and his vendetta with Jaylen Brown can only be described as pathetic.

This feud started on draft day. Simmons blew a gasket when the Celtics drafted Jaylen Brown with the third overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. He sent out this tweet and then threw a riot on the Boston radio stations afterward.

We know now that Danny Ainge obviously made the right call. Most of the mock drafts that year had the Celtics selecting Providence point guard Kris Dunn with that pick. The “7th pick” turned out to be the correct one. Brown made an All-NBA team last year and it’s pretty undisputable that the Celtics made a great pick. Especially when you consider that most mocks had them taking Dunn who turned out to be a bust. Phoenix took Dragan Bender with the very next pick 4th overall, who also flamed out.

Simmons has never once admitted he was wrong. Instead, he spreads this narrative that the Celtics should get rid of Brown. He does this over and over again. All because he can’t admit that he acted like a fool and should just apologize for being wrong.

“A Problem?” What a complete joke.

“Do The Celtics Have To Trade Jaylen Brown”? Just another made-up lie.

I haven’t even gotten to the worst one. This man literally was on the verge of crying because the Celtics didn’t trade Brown to Houston on one of those fake trades that was obviously never close to happening. Explain to me why the Celtics should trade Brown in his prime for a rookie while being in the middle of a win now period? Except it doesn’t make sense. It only makes sense to Simmons because his ego has been hurt.

This man doesn’t know basketball. All he does is jerk off to the trade machine. Click this link and prove to me that he doesn’t do that. This man is a total embarrassment and his lack of accountability is sad. Instead of just admitting he was wrong, he’s gone on a hateful crusade of lies. Nobody should have respect for this bum.

Side note: Who produces a podcast called “the book of basketball” and then doesn’t write an actual book? Actually, I lied. I won’t be like him. The first iteration was a book. He just got too lazy to write the second version and just rambled into a microphone instead. That’s all he does anymore. Does anyone actually respect this idiot anymore?
