Bayern Munich Adds Harry Kane On Mega Transfer Move
The rumors are rumors no more. Bayern Munich is signing Harry Kane after agreeing to a mega transfer deal with the former Tottenham striker. Bayern finally has their Robert Lewandowski replacement they have been searching for.
Fabrizio Ramano already tweeted out the jersey swap so you know it’s real. Done deal. Kane will go to Bayern for a €100 million transfer fee with €20 million in add-ons.
Kane, 30, will sign a four year contract with the German club. Bayern is expected to pay Kane roughly around £400,000-a-week. Kane’s old deal at Tottenham was £200,000-a-week salary. The English striker will get a sizeable raise for making the move.
Kane spent 19 years with Spurs. Conventional wisdom would suggest that Richarlison would take over as the first team striker. Son Heung-min is still on the roster at left wing so that’s good news. The loss of Kane can’t be understated but Spurs did get a sizeable transfer offer for a player that was entering his 30’s. It’s not the worst outcome in the world.
Bayern beat out PSG and other rival English clubs for Kane’s services. Given all the drama around Kylian Mbappe, it’s no surprise that PSG were involved. Kane gives Bayern the striker they have been missing. Not that it matters in the Bundlesliga given the fact that Bayern win the leauge every single year.
I guess the only thing Kane needs to worry about is if Bayern somehow loses the league to Dortmund when he arrives. Now that would be a bad look.
