Having a weekly podcast with Dave Portnoy is a job that 99% of the world would want, and Barstool Eddie does that, as well as a bunch of other things really well for the media company.
Hosting The Dave Portnoy Show
Dave Portnoy is one of the most polarizing media members, and since Barstool Sports has cut ties with SiriusXM, he needed a place to go once a week for an hour and air his grievances. Portnoy chose Barstool Eddie as the guy to navigate the conversation and be the guy to incorporate other company personalities.
Eddie has had the chance to sit in on some of the biggest interviews in the history of the company and has traveled around the country to host the show with Portnoy. He recently went to Saratoga from Chicago so he could host the show live in person, all because the company had a box at the horse track.
The Dog Walk
The Dog Walk is another show that comes out each and every day that covers so many different topics. Each day of the week, the show follows a different format and Eddie hosts them all. On Monday’s they do a 90-minute snake draft of various different topics and the entire Barstool Chicago office competes in it.
Working at Barstool is a dream job to so many people, and Eddie has one of the best jobs at the entire company.
