Baker Mayfield Doesn’t Get It

Some people get it. Some people do not. It’s hard to quantify, but I’m not sure you can teach “it”. Somebody gotta tell Baker Mayfield to shut up. Stop talking. He doesn’t get. I’m not the kind of person to go this route but he’s handling this all wrong.

By the way, Rex Ryan went to the AFC Championship game with Mark Sanchez. He can’t be THAT bad, right? If Mayfield had any clue, he would tell Rex Ryan thank you or don’t even recognize the critique. I used to love getting booed on the road for wrestling. I loved it a hell of a lot more than getting cheered. I hope you tell me I suck. I thrive off it. I love it. Tell me I’m stupid. It’s going to feel that much better when I prove you wrong.

AKA what I’m doing right now about Baker Mayfield. Each and every week, he’s looking closer and closer to the 3rd or 4th round talent I told you he would be. Don’t worry, nobody will apologize to me when I’m right. That’s okay. I just laughed when I got criticized the first time. I don’t need to be praised for being the most accurate on Mayfield when the time comes. I don’t take days off. I do my homework. I’ll outwork you. I know I’m the best. I’ll let you guys figure that part out yourselves. You will notice that more and more people have recently decided it’s a good career decision to attach themselves to the Trey Daubert business and this brand.

This is why Tom Brady is the best. He wants you to tell him he stinks. He thrives off it. He’s a psycho. Baker Mayfield could learn a thing or two from Tom Brady. Smart people learn from the greats before them. Dumb people ignore them. Somebody has to get in Mayfield’s ear because right now he sounds clueless.
