Allwyn’s Bakery Cooks Up Delicious Jamaican Food

This place is easily accessible as there are many locations in Etobicoke, North York, Pickering and Oshawa!

The most iconic location which is the most conveniently located is right on Queen Street. Right in the heart of Toronto, this place is easily accessible from the subway, streetcars, buses and more. Queen Street is the perfect spot to have the perfect spot to hang out, shop, grab great Jamaican food and head out for dessert after!

Allwyn’s has all the classic Jamaican food you’re looking for. Their menu consists of sandwiches with options such as jerk pork, BBQ chicken and patty on a coco bun. As well as sandwiches, they have delicious platters such as rice and peas platters, including curry chicken, curry goat, oxtail and more.

All of these are equally delicious and super authentic! Each platter also gets a side of fresh and crunchy coleslaw. There are also roti options and super refreshing drinks such as coconut water, island sodas and tropical splash, among other selections. 

The Curry Chicken:

The curry chicken was my favorite. The chicken was perfectly tender and flavorful combined with a little kick. The carrots were perfectly stewed and filled with the juices of the chicken. The curry chicken on top of the rice and peas added the perfect sauce to complement the bite from the peas. The rice soaked up the flavor and created an amazing dish!

On top of being delicious, authentic, and fresh, Allwyn’s Bakery is conveniently cheap! A platter filled to the brim with slow-cooked chicken and rice and peas is only $10! This makes it the perfect meal to take home and eat without breaking the bank!
