2022 NFL Best Games of the Week: Week 3

Two weeks into the NFL season and the amount of surprises and shocks we have seen feels high. We’ve been treated to some great games, especially last week’s barnburner between Miami and Baltimore that might’ve been a coming-out party for Tua Tagovailoa. Some teams look great, some are surprising folks, and some might need to begin pressing the panic button. Week 3 will be huge for some teams, and here we will look at the best games of the week for the NFL in Week 3.

Honorable Mention: Steelers at Browns, Ravens at Patriots, 49ers at Broncos

5) Lions at Vikings (1 p.m. ET, FOX)

I’ll give anyone reading this a crisp high-five and $1 if you can tell me the second-highest-scoring offense in the league so far. I couldn’t believe it was the Detroit Lions either, but here we are. We are in for a receiving battle Sunday between Justin Jefferson and Amon-Ra St. Brown which should provide fireworks. This could be a good game to bet the over on. If you want offense for the early slate of games, here you are.

4) Cowboys at Giants (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN MNF)

An underrated choice for our NFL best games of the week.

So many questions to be answered in the Monday Night Football matchup between the Cowboys and the Giants. Can Cooper Rush keep up his winning ways as the starter for this team with Dak Prescott out due to injury, or will the Giants improve to 3-0 and establish themselves as a threat not only in the NFC East, but in the conference as a whole?

3) Rams at Cardinals (4:25 p.m. ET, FOX)

A divisional matchup between two teams with playoff aspirations is coming in third on our best games of the week for the NFL. The Rams almost blew a massive lead to the Falcons last week, while on the opposite side of the coin, the Cardinals overcame a decent deficit to upset the Raiders. Which team will find consistency and set off on a playoff push?

2) Packers at Buccaneers (4:25 p.m. ET, FOX)

The old man game. Two of the greatest QBs of all-time face off, with Aaron Rodgers headed south to take on Tom Brady and the Bucs. The Packers’ offense looked significantly better against the Bears than their Week 1 matchup against the Vikings. For Tampa, they are hoping to establish some rhythm on offense, seeing that it was their defense who kept them in the game last week against New Orleans. With Mike Evans gone due to suspension, who will step up on the outside? This could very easily top our list of NFL best games of the week if it wasn’t for…

Our Best Game of the Week: Bills at Dolphins (1 p.m. ET, CBS)

A divisional matchup with playoff implications in Week 3 of the NFL season? Sign me up. Buffalo looks unstoppable right now, and Miami looks like the high-octane offense we expected all offseason, especially after the Tyreek Hill trade. If the Bills can keep Miami from getting hot early, this could be a long night for Dolphins fans. Here’s another game where you can expect the over to cash.
