When the NCAA approved name, image and likeness, it gave student-athletes the ability to profit off their NIL. Nebraska freshman wide receiver Decoldest Crawford is taking full advantage. Crawford undisputedly has the best name in college sports and one of the best names of all time. What NIL deal makes sense for Decoldest? Obviously, HVAC. You cannot write a better story. Crawford signed an NIL deal to become the spokesperson for SOS Heating & Cooling of Omaha, Neb. Crawford’s first job as the spokesperson resulted in the best HVAC commercial of all time.
If you don’t believe this is the best HVAC commercial of all-time, you’re just wrong. First off, it’s hilarious. Secondly, this commercial has done numbers on social media. It was originally posted to Twitter on Aug. 12 and has now accrued 4.8 million views as of mid-afternoon Tuesday. Not only is this commercial hilarious but it is likely the most viewed HVAC commercial of all-time. I had no clue who SOS Heating & Cooling was before this commercial and the chances are you didn’t either. Now, they are the most well-known HVAC company in the United States.
What could’ve made this commercial even cooler is if it included the alleged middle name which sparked Crawford’s initial fame. Back in 2019, rumors and reports swirled that Crawford’s middle name was ToEvaDoIt, making his full name Decoldest ToEvaDoIt Crawford. Although the name is epic, his middle name is in fact Juan. Still, the viral acclaim doesn’t have to go untapped. A second commercial could feature something along the lines of, “SOS Heating & Cooling is the best HVAC company ToEvaDoIt.” I remain optimistic that ‘ToEvaDoIt’ will be included in a future commercial.
All in all, we have seen the pinnacle of HVAC commercials. SOS Heating & Cooling is certainly going to be the most successful HVAC company in Nebraska and all of the company’s competitors, good luck, because you are going to need it.
