SimBull NFL: What Is The Best Team To Buy In The AFC West In 2021?
Alas, we have finally come to the AFC West. If you know me or read most of my NFL articles, you’d know I am a passionately depressed Raiders fan. I try to unbiased as they come, but sometimes I can’t help myself. So if you don’t agree with the Raiders ranking in here, please know that is my bias talking. I’ll do my best here. I do think this is one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL, maybe the most after the NFC West. Still, that might mean something totally different for SimBull NFL. Let’s see what we have here.
#4 Los Angeles Chargers
I have nothing against the Chargers here, in fact, it is the same instance as it was in the NFC West. It’s a tough division and there has to be someone last. It’s the Chargers in this instance because they are the 2nd most expensive in the division and still have a young QB. He might be promising, but this will be his first season with away crowds, we will see how he fares. Still. this isn’t a bad investment for the long run.
#3 Denver Broncos
I am still a firm believer in Drew Lock. I’m sure the Broncos traded for Teddy Bridgewater as an insurance policy and a cheap one at that. Still, this team has talent, and eventually, it will break through. This is a low-risk high reward option that you can pick and it might be worthwhile. Hell, the Broncos could be a playoff team this year with their talent. 3rd is no knock on them. the next team is just cheaper.
#2 Las Vegas Raiders
Bias or not, you can’t tell me this price isn’t cheap. $27.52 for a borderline playoff team? Come on now. For perspective, the Lions cost more than the Raiders and the Raiders are for sure better than them. The Raiders are 4th cheapest in the league, there’s not a lot of better value than that. Some don’t believe in Mike Mayock or Jon Gruden and I understand the criticisms. But this team should be better than it was last year and will fight for a playoff spot once again. It’s the Raiders, but it’s also for super cheap.
#1 Kansas City Chiefs
Expensive or not, you’re getting the sure thing here in KC. Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid will be a formidable duo for a long time. It’s the most expensive in the league but it will make you a lot of money in the long run as far as wins go. Sometimes the most expensive team is the team you need to get, that is the case here.
