Why Todd McShay Doesn’t Like Sean Stellato

Tommy DeVito is having his Jeremy Lin moment with the New York Giants right now. However, nobody really wants to talk about DeVito anymore. It’s all about DeVito’s agent Sean Stellato. Yes, the guy who dresses like a wacko. Apparently, Todd McShay hates him.

McShay was fired by ESPN this year and has nothing to do except cry and complain. To the surprise of no one, he did exactly that when talking about Stellato. McShay went on a pathetic rant about how he doesn’t like Stellato on a recent episode of the Ryen Russilo podcast.

The Spun did a good job transcribing all of the quotes if you want to read it. I’ll drop a snippet below.

“Senior year in high school, we’re 7-0 and we’re going to play Salem, Massachusetts and if we win this game, we kinda know we’re going to win the last two games. If we win this game, we’re going to play in the Super Bowl,” McShay said, as covered by The Spun.

“We lose to this team in Salem. Sean Stellato is the quarterback. All week long it was like this big media frenzy because the Salem teachers, including their head coach, were on strike.”

Sorry, not sorry, but isn’t this kinda pathetic? So he doesn’t like Stellato because his team lost to them in high school? McShay is 46 years old. This man has been carrying this grudge for nearly 30 years and still seems angry about it. A grudge that really isn’t a grudge. Stellato probably doesn’t care who McShay is. Nor should he since he got fired and doesn’t actually work anymore.

My follow-up question would have been; remember when you called Ryan Finley a first round pick? Not only does McShay suck at his job (he got fired for a reason) he’s also a big time cry baby. Incredibly sad.
