It’s officially official. No troll job. This is as real as it gets. Grand Theft Auto VI (six if you can’t read Roman Numerals) is on the way. Rockstar Games made a huge announcement and essentially confirmed the game is on the way.
This will make your day if you’re a GTA fan. Get ready because we’re getting a GTA 6 trailer in December. December also marks the 25th anniversary of the company. Maybe that means something?
This is such exciting news for so many reasons. For starters, I thought GTA 5 sucked. I hated that game. I love the GTA series but GTA 5 gave me limp eggplant emoji. It’s been basically a decade since we’ve gotten a new game. We’re past due.
There were rumors that GTA 6 would feature a female lead character. That appears to be false. We still don’t know a ton about the new game. Obviously, the trailer will reveal a lot of key information.
If you’re itching for more GTA content, Miranda has a nice post to read for the upcoming game.
Either way, this is fantastic news. It feels like a holiday. We’re actually getting a new GTA game! The last game came out in 2013. We’re way past due for a new installment of the game. I’m just thankful that day is inching closer!
Feel free to react in the comments. How excited are you for the new game? What are you expecting to see in the first trailer?
