Barstool Sports Fires Kelly In Vegas

ESPN has stolen all of the headlines with their mass firing going on today. It turns out Barstool Sports is having its own mini-firing squad. Coach Duggs has been let go by Barstool. Kelly in Vegas will join him in the unemployment line. Kelly in Vegas has been fired and is out at Barstool.

Kelly in Vegas put out her own statement on the matter via social media:

My last two years @barstoolsports was nothing short of incredible.

Conventional wisdom would suggest that Kelly in Vegas will be scooped up rather quickly by another network. She’s a female sports mind that works in the gambling industry. Whether it be DraftKings, FanDuel, etc, someone will be interested. I’m sure she can probably go out on her own too if she’s good enough at the gambling side of things.

That cockroach, Jeff Nadu seems to be working on scooping her up. They have done shows together in the past before. I’m not sure what it includes other than giving free wristers to the former Last Chance U coach but I guess that’s always an option too.

Barstool Hires Kelly In Vegas – PENN Preps for a Big Football Season

It was a good two year run, I guess. Given that Barstool is all in on the gambling side of things, this kind of firing seems odd. Maybe Penn Entertainment and Barstool isn’t on as safe of a financial footing as many would have thought before. Given what’s already happened at ESPN, maybe more firings are on the way at Barstool. Based on today, nothing can be ruled out.
