Rondale Moore: The Next Deebo Samuel

I have Rondale Moore very high on my wide receiver for the 2021 NFL Draft. Yes, Purdue is not a NFL factory but Moore is DIFFERENT. The Boilermaker’s wide receiver has it. Moore is a first round pick all day and will make a big impact in the NFL.

During the combine this year, Daniel Jeremiah kept doing this segment called “Finding Deebo”. I found it hilarious. A: Because I told everyone that Deebo was the real deal and nobody listened. B: Because that player didn’t exist in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Lynn Bowden? C’mon, he’s a wildcat quarterback. Just no to the rest. They’re not Deebo in the open field. However, Rondale Moore… Oh, that man is DIFFERENT.

What makes Deebo Samuel so special is his ability to get open and create yards after the catch. That skill translated right away in the NFL like I said it would. Samuel averaged a ridiculous 8.4 yards after the catch which ranked 2nd in the NFL. Moore has the ability to replicate that.

As a true freshman, Moore averaged 7.8 yards after the catch with 349 yards after contact, and 37 forced missed tackles. Those numbers led college football. Oh, and he did it as an 18-year-old.

The movement skills here are just off the charts. Moore makes plays that just make you go WOAH. What what that? Except in a good way. Rondale Moore is going to run a good 40 time, has polished route running ability, and can make you miss in the open field. What’s not to like?

Deebo Samuel Is The Best Receiver In The 2019 NFL Draft

Moore only played 4 games this past year but notched 114 receptions, 1,258 yards, and 12 touchdowns as a freshman. Add in 21 rushes for 213 yards and 2 touchdowns as a running back. Remember, Deebo played some running back at South Carolina. I don’t care if he plays a game this year. Be careful about passing on this guy. Rondale Moore is a star in the NFL every day of the week.
