The Cleveland Browns are under new management again. It feels like you can say that every year. Andrew Berry is the new GM and Kevin Stefanski is the new head coach. The Browns really do have a loaded roster. Personnel isn’t the problem. The problem is once you put on those hideous uniforms, things always go wrong. God help the people that actually root for this team. Let’s get right into the Browns 2020 NFL Draft War Room.

The Browns hold the 10th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Cleveland has 8 picks and 4 of them are in the top 90. Those picks sit at 10, 41, 74, 90. The Browns really do have a loaded roster. This team doesn’t have many holes to fill.

The strategy for Cleveland is simple. Find that franchise left tackle. Chris Hubbard isn’t cutting it. The Browns don’t have to worry about the ghost of Greg Robinson anymore. Jack Conklin was signed to be the right tackle. Enter any one of the 4 high profile tackles. Mekhi Becton, Tristan Wirfs, Jedrick Wills, and Andrew Thomas. Bookmark one of them to the Browns.

In the second round, I could see the Browns going with a safety. Karl Joseph and Andrew Sendejo were signed in free agency. Sendejo is probably more of a short term fixed and has mostly bounced around the league. Joseph is more than capable of being that box safety. Someone like Jeremy Chinn of Southern Illinois could fit nicely into that equation.

The Browns really only need to fill a linebacker need. They flat out stole Mack Wilson in the 5th round a year ago. I don’t know how he was on the board in that range. However, Cleveland lost Christian Kirksey and Joe Schobert in free agency. Using a pick on a player like Jordyn Brooks of Texas Tech or Cam Brown of Penn State that can run and cover makes sense.
