2024 Fantasy Football Rookie Tight End Rankings

The 2024 NFL Draft is in the books. Now is the fun part. The Summer content will mostly be dedicated to fantasy football and those 2024 rookie rankings are vital towards your drafting success. Today we’re doing the tight end rankings so enjoy them.

In years past I used to just do a combination of redraft and dynasty. This year I’m going to separate them. Probably better to do it this way. Here are the VSM 2024 Fantasy Football Rookie tight end Rankings!

Redraft:

1: Brock Bowers (Raiders)

Let me say this. As I said in a post about Kyle Pitts many years ago. Patience will be required here. The landing spot stinks and Michael Mayer is going to have more than zero receptions. It takes tight ends a while to get going and racking up fantasy points in that division with Gardner Minshew… good luck. Bowers is also the only rookie tight end to do anything so we’ll just leave it at that. Be real about expectations as a rookie. That’s all I’ll say and that’s coming from someone who loves the player.

Dynasty:

5: Erick All (Iowa)

The success rate on tight ends from Iowa is pretty high. The guy was never healthy in college but maybe good fortune will be on his side at the pro level. I get All in this offense with Joe Burrow? There are worse dart throws to make even if this one never pans out.

4: Theo Johnson (Giants)

Darren Waller is done. It just hasn’t been fully announced yet. The Penn State product does have some potential. Maybe he can become a productive starter down the road. He’s at least athletic enough to become that.

3: Cade Stover (Texans)

Those who read the site know that I’m in on Cade Stover. He’s tough and blocks. Fantasy wise maybe he never reaches high end production but with the Texans maybe he can become someone who steps in and starts down the road. He can catch the ball and might be used in the red area eventually.

2: Ja’Tavion Sanders (Panthers)

I have Sanders as my second rated tight end we’re going to put him here too. Carolina is starting totally over and Sanders has real talent. He was good at Texas and a former five star prospect. Has receiving upside too. I see fantasy success in his future. Just probably not for this year yet.

1: Brock Bowers (Raiders)

Long term I’m so in. I love the player as mentioned previously. I had him as the third best overall player in the class. Bowers should be a top 3 fantasy tight end eventually. It just might take some time.
