2023 NFL Season: Week 6 overreactions

We are officially one-third of the way through the 2023 NFL season. It’s time to overreact! Here are our team’s overreactions from Week 6’s slate!

Trey Daubert

The NFC South should forfeit their spot in the playoffs this year.

The Saints are the most boring team to watch in the NFL. Dennis Allen stinks and so does Derek Carr. Atlanta continues to waste our time with Desmond Ridder. That guy blows. Tampa has some fight but clearly are limited. I haven’t even gotten to Carolina and Frank Reich who continues to expose himself as a fraud on a daily basis.

James Herrick

The Jacksonville Jaguars are turning the corner.

The 2023 NFL season projected to be promising for the fast-rising Jacksonville Jaguars. After a slow start, the Jaguars have now won three consecutive games. What’s more impressive is that they picked up a win over the Buffalo Bills while dominating the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons. It seems safe to say that this Jaguars team has found its grove and will live up to its lofty preseason expectations.

Alex Chick III

Brock Purdy stinks.

I’m tired of people acting like he actually deserves to be in the MVP convo, he can’t play unless everything is perfect for him. Christian McCaffrey is the real MVP.

Patrick Graham is a great defensive coordinator.

The Raiders defense is outperforming the offense (the bar is low I know) but with way less talent on the defensive side. He needs some elite players and this defense will be stout.

Jets would be 5-1 with Aaron Rodgers.

This team is .500 and lost two games with one possession with Zach Wilson at QB. You can’t tell me with Aaron Rodgers they lose those games. Jets can play and it’s a shame they don’t have Rodgers.

Tyrod Taylor is better than Daniel Jones. Flat out period.

Brian Hoyer is better than Jimmy G. Flat out period.

Matt Hanifan

The Chiefs need another pass catcher to be considered favorites.

As the trade deadline approaches, the Chiefs’ most pressing need is at receiver. Rashee Rice has looked good as a rookie, but should not be considered a No. 1 wideout (behind Travis Kelce) just yet. The Chiefs got by Denver 19-8 in a rock fight Thursday night and are currently 5-1, sitting pretty atop the AFC West, but could really put themselves as a frontrunner for another AFC Title if they snagged another pass catcher. Davante Adams? DeAndre Hopkins? Courtland Sutton? Adam Thielen? Mike Evans (if Tampa bottoms out)? There are options.
