I’m just going to be honest; I’m not excited about this one. It’s a lost team with no direction and no identity. You’re not going to fix the Commanders overnight but we’ll try to do the best we can here. The right move might be to punt and look toward the future. Fans might like this draft outcome. Fans might not like it. Here is what I know. Turning the card in and just being happy with the players you get isn’t good enough. It’s just not. This team is lost and on the verge of getting new ownership. Shouldn’t we be doing everything in our power to make sure brighter and better days are ahead when the new regime takes over?

I don’t want to give too much away so that you watch the video. However, I’m not sure I can avoid it. It’s time to punt. Everybody knows it. Punt for a brighter tomorrow. That’s what I would do and I’m not sure there is really much more to say. What are the Commanders really accomplishing by doing anything else? That’s what I really want to know. Tell me why punting isn’t the best option? That’s what I want to know. Maybe the haters on this one need truth serum.
