Where do the Bills go from here? The season ended on such a sour note with the Damar Hamlin thing. Buffalo never recovered from it. The good news is Josh Allen is still here and the roster is still strong for the most part. Brandon Beane is one of the best in the league and we’re going to try to get him over the hump. Let’s try to do just this in this edition of the 2023 NFL Draft War Room!
The Bills got pushed around last year against Cincinnati at the line of scrimmage. We can’t allow that to happen again. Upgrading both the offensive and defensive lines has to be the goal for this draft. During the simulation we pick two players on each side of the ball. Hopefully, Bills Mafia is happy with these selections.
Finding a replacement for Tremaine Edmunds is also on the to do list. Edmunds departed for big money to Chicago. There isn’t a linebacker that I consider a guaranteed hit in this draft class. However, the one we came away with is a bit of a wildcard that can kinda do the same things that Edmunds did.
Running back is kinda squared away after the Damien Harris signing. Other things that should be taken care of during this draft include: Adding a third receiver makes a lot of sense. Maybe another tight end that can block behind Dawson Knox. Beefing up the secondary should be considered as well.
