2023 NFL Draft War Room: Cincinnati Bengals

How do we get Joe Burrow his Super Bowl ring? Better yet, how do we do it before we actually have to pay him? The 2023 NFL Draft has to be the finishing piece to a Super Bowl team. That’s the only goal right now for the Bengals so that’s how we will proceed. Let’s get right into the Bengals War Room!

  • Round 1, Pick 28
  • Round 2, Pick 60
  • Round 3, Pick 92
  • Round 4, Pick 131
  • Round 5, Pick 165
  • Round 6, Pick 206
  • Round 7, Pick 248

We know the Bengals at this point. Never trade up or down. Stay there and make your pick while hopefully coming up with the best player. For this video, I didn’t love any of the offers so we just went with what they might do.

Could the Bengals go pass rusher at the back end of the first round? If a guy like Nolan Smith is there, could Cincinnati pull the trigger? Smith blew up the combine and was a monster recruit? Having a guy like this opposite of Trey Hendrickson is really enticing. Loading up on a premier pass rusher is something the Bengals have to consider.

Losing Jessie Bates stinks. The corners here aren’t world-beaters either. Adding some secondary help would make a lot of sense. There are a good number of talented players in the secondary this year. I think fans will like the way this simulation went with a good player falling to 60. Still, corner and safety help should be a priority.

Landing Orlando Brown was smart but I don’t think the Bengals should stop there when it comes to upgrading their offensive line. Ted Karras shouldn’t prevent the Bengals from searching for a long term option at center. Ohio State has a really good track record of sending guys to the pros at this position. Keeping a guy like Luke Wypler in the state makes a lot of sense. Protect Joe Burrow at all costs. Ending up with Wypler in the third round could be a really savvy move.

Other areas of need include running back and tight end. Semaje Perine and Hayden Hurst are both gone. Adding a player in both areas during the later rounds makes a lot of sense.

You are a clueless tool. Pretending to know a team, their needs, philosophy. and make up won’t pass with Bengal fans. You are a pathetic pretender. At least look at the roster before pretending to draft. If you were just mailing this in… I guess you did great. We have ZERO tight ends and a dire need at RB. I know you are the GM, lol, what a clown.
