The NFL Week 8 betting lines are listed, and it is once again time for Andrew Zucker and me to help get you kids rich. Now, the last two weeks, both of us have been down on our luck.
Results Through Week 7
Jackson: 60-42
Andrew: 46-42
Jackson
Atlanta @ Carolina
CAR -2.5
Atlanta is starting to spiral out of control. Carolina is not playing that bad, even without their best player. Roll with the Panthers.
Los Angeles Rams @ Miami
MIA +4
The Rams will probably win this game, but I think Tua Tagovailoa does good enough in his first time out to make it close. Rams take a close one, but Miami covers.
New England @ Buffalo
BUF -3.5
What has happened to Cam Newton? I cannot trust him anymore. I’ll stay with Josh Allen and the Bills.
Tennessee @ Cincinnati
TEN -5.5
Only 5.5? That is disrespectful to the Titans and how well they have been playing. Their only loss was a close one to arguably the second-best team in football. Titans win and cover.
Las Vegas @ Cleveland
CLE -2.5
This is a tough one. Not sure who to go with, but my gut tells me Cleveland wins with a field goal.
Indianapolis @ Detriot
DET +3
Another tough one, but because both teams aren’t great. I think Detroit will carry some momentum from last week and pull out a win here and cover.
Minnesota @ Green Bay
GB -6.5
Aaron Rodgers. That is all.
New York Jets @ Kansas City
KC -19.5
Wow-what a spread. I usually don’t go with super high on such spreads, but it’s the Jets. This could be another game where the Chiefs roll out Chad Henne at the end.
Pittsburgh @ Baltimore
PIT +3.5
Must watch game here. This will be a good measurement for the Steelers on if they are legit or not. If they win this game, then I’ll probably be sold. If not, I still think they keep it close.
Los Angeles Chargers @ Denver
LAC -3
Chargers have a slightly better team than Denver. Edge goes to the Chargers.
New Orleans @ Chicago
NO -4
Chicago is who we thought they were. They are frauds that have no business having this many wins. New Orleans wins and covers.
San Francisco @ Seattle
SEA -3
Seattle lost a tough one against the up and coming Cardinals. They bounce back, and Russell Wilson has a great game.
Dallas @ Philadelphia
PHI -7.5
Probably the worst game of the week. Sure, it has playoff implications, but between two teams below .500 in the worst division in the NFL. Eagles have the better quarterback, so that is who I roll with.
Tampa Bay @ New York Giants
TB -10.5
Tom Brady is looking good. Like, really good. Plus, it’s the Giants. I’ll go with TB12 in this scenario.
Andrew
Atlanta @ Carolina
CAR -2.5
No CMC this week like fans hoped, but that won’t be a problem as Teddy Bridgewater, Mike Davis, and Robby Anderson carry Carolina to victory, covering the spread.
Los Angeles Rams @ Miami
LAR -4
Too Tagoviloa in his first game against Aaron Donald. Welcome to the show, rook—Rams with the spread.
New England @ Buffalo
BUF -3.5
Cam and the Pats look very lost right now, and the Bills are trying to extend their grip on the conference. A four-point spread doesn’t mean much in a rivalry game like this. Josh Allen and Stefan Diggs are going to take advantage of a disheveled New England secondary.
Tennessee @ Cincinnati
TEN -5.5
Titans at -5.5 is a joke. They’ll ravage the Bengals, won’t even be close.
Las Vegas @ Cleveland
LV Money line
Baker Mayfield looked terrible at the beginning of last week’s game, but then he turned it around, and then some. At -2.5 against a super and cold Raiders team feels like a trick. On the one hand, the Browns can flop at any moment, and Las Vegas can turn on the burners, but the opposite can be true. I’ll take Raiders with the money line.
Indianapolis @ Detriot
IND Money line
Don’t bet on this game. Seriously. You’ll lose either way. For bookkeeping purposes, Colts with the money line.
Minnesota @ Green Bay
GB -6.5
Aaron Rodgers is a baddddddddddddddddddddd man, and he tore the Vikings defense a new one earlier in the season. Look out for that same result this time around.
New York Jets @ Kansas City
KC -19.5
This is a big spread, at 19.5; surely take the Chiefs with the spread, but how has massive spread fared this season? Now consider the Jets totaled four yards in the second half last week. Confused? Good. Chiefs with the spread.
Pittsburgh @ Baltimore
PIT +3.5
GAME OF THE WEEK. Big Ben is back, and I mean the two-time super bowl champion. In an offense that’s continuously switching in new people, and they all succeed, you have to run with the Steelers winning outright.
Los Angeles Chargers @ Denver
LAC -3
Another clunker. Good news for the Broncos, Drew Lock is back. Bad news for Denver, they’re not good. Justin Herbert, though, he’s played like a franchise QB for the Chargers. LA with the spread.
New Orleans @ Chicago
NO -4
I told you the Bears were fakers. Saints with the spread. That’s all.
San Francisco @ Seattle
SEA -3
This would have made for a great game if injuries had not been a factor, but now the Seahawks will run away with it.
Dallas @ Philadelphia
PHI Money line
In the year 2020, things can’t get much worse, right? Wrong. We get this Sunday Night Football. A third-string QB against one of the greatest FCS QB’s ever. I’m going to stick with Wentz and the Eagles but on the money line.
Tampa Bay @ New York Giants
TB -10.5
The Giants might have a Covid outbreak, so whether this game will be played this week is up in the air. If played, Tom Brady will pick apart New York’s defense.
