The 2020 NFL Draft for the Buffalo Bills isn’t going to be a very long one. It can basically be described as Stefon Diggs. Buffalo had the 5th best defensive efficiency in 2019 compared to 21st on offense. It’s easy to justify the trade. However, it leaves them limited in terms of the draft. The Bills still do have 7 picks but none inside the top 50. Let’s dive into their 2020 NFL Draft War Room.

We will try to dive into the Bills 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks. Those fall at 54, 86, and 128 respectively.

In the 2nd round, I think the Bills would love to add one more corner. Buffalo added Josh Norman this offseason, but it’s fair to wonder if he has anything left. Tre’Davious White is a superstar. Levi Wallace is a good starter. One more corner would really do wonders for this defense. How about someone like Damon Arnette of Ohio State? Arnette is going to fall because of character concerns but is a first round talent. That’s what Buffalo needs after trading away multiple picks. Take big swings and land talent that falls. Ohio State has a pretty good track record of corners working in the NFL.

Frank Gore may or may not be brought back. Either way, the Bills need a steady backup running back behind Devin Singletary. TJ Yeldon isn’t it. Zack Moss could be a good fit and would remind them of what Gore brings to the table. Moss led the country in broken tackles this year and is a really physical runner. I think Buffalo would be happy to land someone like Moss in the third round. If it doesn’t happen, Gore gets re-signed.

In the 4th round, the Bills may look to take a swing at defensive end. Shaq Lawson signed with Miami and Lorenzo Alexander retired. The Bills could be the landing spot for someone like Chauncey Rivers. If you’re bored right now, you can see Rivers on last chance U. He did play most recently for Mississippi State.
