2020 MLB Award Prediction: NL MVP Bryce Harper
Come on did you really think I would be going with anyone else on this pick? Obviously, I’m going with my guy Bryce on this one! That Mormon son of a botch is due for a monster year after a somewhat disappointing season in the first year of his 13 year mega-deal. Honestly, I blame most of that on last year’s absolute bum of a manager, Gabe Kapler. Dude is honestly a fucking moron and should be forced to wear a helmet 24 hours a day. Take your god damn cyber metrics and analytics to San Fran and jump off the Golden Gate Bridge you no-talent piece of garbage.
This is it, people! This is Bryce’s coming out season in Philly. This is where he retakes his place at the top. This is where he brings a title back to the City of Brotherly Love. This is it. No idiot manager, no distraction of having his first child, no adjusting to a new team, just good old fashion baseball with the boys. South Philly is going to be rocking this year. Screw the Braves, forget about the Nats, and throw out the Mets! Philly baby!
Last year Harper turned it on in late July and August to completely demolish opposing pitchers. He finished the season batting .260 with 35 HRs and 114 RBIs on 149 hits. He missed some time due to his son’s birth and a few nicks here and there playing in only 139 games. This season I expect Bryce to play in 158 games with a slash of .303/45/132.
