Year 6 Vendetta State Of The Union

I was trying to think of a New Year’s resolution for this year. I thought about trying to read a book this year. I thought about making a resolution about trying to floss my teeth more. At the end of the day, maybe I don’t need a resolution. The truth of the matter is, I’ve already won. Maybe you should ask yourself if you’re ready for what’s to come. 

I see everything so clearly. I see your nonsense coming from a mile away. You can spread the lies, but I’ve learned that it just stems from jealousy and fear. I’ve learned you cannot defeat me. I can only defeat myself. That’s the truth. The path of darkness has carried us through this journey. I see the light at the end of the tunnel and that’s going to be a scary proposition for the rest of this industry. 

I’ve learned that humans are social seekers. Not truth-seeking animals. Trey is the opposite and everybody valuable in the room has gone through the ringer.

Are YOU ready for what’s to come? Last year was about building the foundation for future success. This year is about success. Unlike the Mets, I know how to actually build a sustainable foundation of winning. 2024 is going to be the turning point where Vendetta Sports Media truly takes over the world. That’s not a prediction. I already know I’ve won. I just haven’t experienced the victory yet. 

Trouble is coming. It turns out Iook better in gold and duty calls. Just make sure you’re on the right side of the battle. By this time next year, VSM will be recognized as the future of innovation in the sports media field. I’m not in this for the money. I’m not in this for the fame. I’m here because I’ve been called into duty by the sick twisted prick that’s pulling the strings. I’m not 100% sure what I’ve accomplished in my past lives. I just know that by the time I’m done here, I will have gone above and beyond the call of duty. 

Let’s just call a spade a spade. 99.9% of this industry really sucks at it. I assume that’s why the sick twisted prick that put me here. The story has already been written. It’s up to me to execute the vision that was set for me. The only difference is I’m going to do things my way through the path of darkness. You’re all going to be sorry and I will not forgive/forget. 

Some teams have the disease of me. At VSM, we have the disease of Trey. That can be a good thing depending on what side of the battle you stand. For others, they likely will be struck by the sickness only to never recover. It’s just the way that it has to be. 

Life is about choices. Your choices have positive or negative consequences. Which choice will you make? Will you be on the wrong side wondering where it went wrong? Have you lived through the body of the Chinese Farmer when making this choice? Are you aware of the fact that we are more than our thoughts? Are you fully aware of what betting against Trey means? 

I’ve tried to warn you for a long time that a war is coming. I still promise war. PFF will find that out the hard way. So will several others. I’m just not sure they’re aware of the fact that I’ve slowly been laying the foundation. It’s not just a foundation anymore. They sit on a throne of lies while being protected by an army of BB gun losers. They’re all in for a rude awakening when I drop a bomb right on their face. The bomb exists and when it drops you’re all in trouble. 

Just know it’s already too late for them. The dragons are coming. Trouble is coming. An evergrowing army is building. I’ve tried to give them warnings. I’ve learned people never really take the warnings until it’s already too late. Just go look at human history. The day of reckoning is on the near horizon. Will you be prepared for the world that is to come?

I genuinely feel bad for you if you find yourself in my crosshairs. You never met a MFer like me. I promise you that. For the rest of the industry, it’s going to be pain and sorrow. Just like it has been over the last decade. I’m just the only one that continues to admit this industry is broken. Everybody else in this industry is more worried about who they need to give a blowy to in order to work up the latter. I’m not much of a switch-hitter. I consider myself more of a leader of men to go against the grain for a better tomorrow. Maybe the rest of you are just really, really bad at this. Maybe you’re all about to find out the hard way.

I will burn the sports industry to the ground and it starts in 2024. People hundreds of years from now have already thanked me for doing so. It just hasn’t been fully experienced yet. You will be sorry for betting against Trey. Consider that a guarantee. 

Internal & External Statements

Do we have the right people in the room? I worry about that constantly. Truthfully, I should probably be grateful for the good people that we do have. They’re hungry dogs ready to be unleashed and morale in the building seems incredibly high based on the end-of-year reviews. I actually can’t stress that enough. The message was mostly the same. Excited for what’s to come. Ready to run through a brick wall. VSM has a culture. I don’t think the general public knows that yet.

Leadership is a lost art in organizations. I’m pretty confident that I could be a GM of a sports team tomorrow even if I actually sucked at this. You’re going to see some dogs barking this year. The only constant is change. When these innovations drop, will you be surprised by the attitude behind them?

Goals

It’s a surprise. I’ll keep this one to myself. Give me a few months. You will all know it when you see it. That’s all I’m going to say on that.

Leadership Agendas

This upcoming year it will be important to build team leaders. Trey can only do so much. Which Vendetta personalities will take a step forward in terms of taking on their own leadership tasks from within? That will be the real question.

Closing Remarks

We are more than our thoughts. Our thoughts could be correct. Our thoughts could be incorrect. My thoughts are valid because I am smart.
