WWE Survivor Series WarGames is shaping out to be a really fun premium live event. WarGames matches are always incredible and a lot of fun to watch. Plus WWE mixing the traditional Survivor Series in with it is the cherry on top. With this being the final premium live event until the Royal Rumble, this is an important event. It will shape the feuds for the Royal Rumble and even WrestleMania. With so much on the line, anything can happen. So let’s go over what I and fellow staff members, Dillon O’Brien, Jiarmani DePena, and Michael Ivanoskos think will happen at WWE Survivor Series WarGames.
Since joining Judgement Day, Finn Balor has had his eyes set on AJ Styles. He has tried numerous times to get AJ to join Judgement Day, but nothing has worked. Since then, AJ has been joined by longtime friends, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, to help even the odds. However, AJ Styles and Finn Balor are former friends themselves. The two have crossed paths in NJPW and both were in the legendary Bullet Club. Now the former friends turned rivals are going at it one-on-one at WWE Survivor Series WarGames.
This has the potential to be the match of the night. Balor and Styles are easily two of the best wrestlers of the past decade and now they will cross paths in WWE. So I’m really excited about this match and I think it will not disappoint. However, I think Finn Balor is going to come out on top. I know AJ hasn’t won a singles match on a premium live event in 2-3 years, but Finn would benefit more from a victory. WWE is still trying to build up the Judgement Day and they are finally hitting their stride. So a win here for Finn is going to be big for him and Judgement Day. Although the Survivor Series betting odds are in the favor of AJ Styles, I still think Finn walks out victorious.
Staff Predictions:
Mark: Finn Balor def. AJ Styles
Dillon: Finn Balor def. AJ Styles
Jiarmani: AJ Styles def. Finn Balor
Michael: Finn Balor def. AJ Styles
Seth Rollins has been on top of the world since becoming the United States Champion. But he awoke a beast by the name of Bobby Lashley. After Brock Lesnar cost Lashley the United States Championship, the two titans went head-to-head at Crown Jewel. Ultimately, Lesnar came out on top, but Lashley was extremely dominant in the math. Since then, he has had his eyes set on the United States Championship. Austin Theory entered the picture by unsuccessfully cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Rollins and has been trying to win the titles ever since. Now three of the biggest stars in WWE clash for the United States Championship at WWE Survivor Series WarGames.
This is another match that has the potential to be the match of the night. These are three f the top stars in WWE and all have interesting character storylines currently. However, I don’t think WWE is taking the title off of Seth just yet. I think Lashley is going to be extremely dominant for the entire match and Seth is going to come in last second and sneak away with a victory.
Staff Predictions:
Mark: Seth Rollins def. Austin Theory & Bobby Lashley
Dillon: Austin Theory def. Seth Rollins & Bobby Lashley
Jiarmani: Seth Rollins def. Austin Theory & Bobby Lashley
Michael: Austin Theory def. Seth Rollins & Bobby Lashley
Since winning the Smackdown Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules, Ronda Rousey has become a massive bully. She has joined forces with longtime friend, Shayna Baszler, and the two have been running amuck backstage at WWE. But after winning a number one contenders match, Shotzi has a chance to shock the world and become the new Smackdown Women’s Champion at WWE Survivor Series WarGames.
This is the match I am the least excited for. However, it is nice to see Shotzi get an opportunity at a main event title. But, I think Ronda is going to dominate for most of the match and ultimately pick up the win with ease. also, I think we will be getting the return of Charlotte Flair following this match.
Staff Predictions:
Mark: Ronda Rousey def. Shotzi
Dillon: Ronda Rousey def. Shotzi
Jiarmani: Ronda Rousey def. Shotzi
Michael: Ronda Rousey def. Shotzi
Ever since returning to WWE at SummerSlam, Damage CTRL has caused pure chaos in the women’s division. They have done whatever they wanted to, whenever they wanted to. Also, Bayley has had her eyes set on the Raw Women’s Champion, Bianca Belair. Although her attempts to win the title have been unsuccessful, Bayley has an opportunity to take down the Raw Women’s Champion at WWE Survivor Series WarGames. Bayley has found help in Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley. Bianca Belair found help in Alexa Bliss, Asuka, and the recent return of Mia Yim. Bianca Belair announced that she will reveal who the final member of her team is on Friday Night Smackdown.
I think Team Bayley is going to come out on top here. And I think Rhea Ripley is going to be the one to pin Bianca Belair and then go after the Raw Women’s Championship. This match is going to be awesome and definitely worth the watch. I can’t wait to watch all of these incredible women go to battle in a WarGames match.
Staff Predictions:
Mark: Team Bayley def. Team Bianca
Dillon: Team Bayley def. Team Bianca
Jiarmani: Team Bianca def. Team Bayley
Michael: Team Bianca def. Team Bayley
The Bloodline has been running through the entire WWE roster. Roman Reigns has knocked down every challenger who dared to step up. Jimmy and Jey Uso are now the longest-reigning WWE tag team champions of all time. Solo Sikoa has proven he is not one to be messed with. And Sami Zayn has proven his loyalty to the Bloodline over and over again. But now, the Bloodline is haunted by the ghosts of their past. What started out as just a feud with the Brawling Brutes has grown to Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens getting involved. Both of those men have a history with Roman Reigns and want to get revenge on him. So will the Bloodline prove to be stronger than ever or will a group of men band together to take down a common enemy?
I’m taking the Bloodline to walk out victorious. This is the first match that all five members will wrestle together and I think they need to win. However, I do think we are going to get the downfall of the Bloodline soon, I just don’t think it will happen at WWE Survivor Series WarGames. Furthermore, I think Sami Zayn is going to secure victory for the Bloodline by pinning Kevin Owens.
Staff Predictions:
Mark: The Bloodline def. The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens
Dillon: The Bloodline def. The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens
Jiarmani: The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens def. The Bloodline
Michael: The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens def. The Bloodline
Mark: Charlotte Flair returns to confront Ronda Rousey.
Michael: Sasha Banks returns to be the final member of Team Bianca. The Hurt Business reforms to assault Seth Rollins and Austin Theory.
