The Eagles stink at defending the pass and they’re refusing to play their most talented corner in Kelee Ringo. I just want to know when that’s going to change because it’s getting to the point where it no longer makes sense. Ringo is raw coming out of Georgia but it’s time to get this man some playing time.
Why aren’t the Eagles playing Kelee Ringo? Will someone please answer the question? Forget about Ringo, just take a look at what their current group is accomplishing at the moment. The Eagles can’t defend the forward pass at all and all of the numbers bear that out.
3rd Down%: 32nd (47.3%)
Red Zone Defense: 29th (68.3%)
Passing Attempts Allowed: 32nd (40.3)
Passing Yards Allowed: 29th (260.3)
Passing Touchdowns Allowed: 31st (27)
How many more weeks are you going to trot out Eli Ricks? Is anybody watching the tape on that guy? Ricks didn’t get drafted this past year and still has a ways to go. How many more weeks have to go by before you make changes? This team cannot defend the forward pass and teams are gameplanning around it. This team also led the league in sacks last year but are so bad in the back end that they’re nowhere near the top of the leaderboard this year.
It’s time to get Ringo on the field. I don’t want to hear any excuses. It’s ridiculous that this guy isn’t playing. I don’t even care what’s going on in practice. Ringo needs to play. Bottom line, end of story.
Ringo, 21, is one of the best cornerbacks in that 2023 NFL Draft class. Georgia won back-to-back national titles and Ringo was their top corner. Every other Georgia player is thriving in Philadelphia. At some point, when are they going to look in the mirror and get the Ferrari on the field?
