Watch: 2023-24 Minnesota Timberwolves Season Preview

Last summer, the Minnesota Timberwolves shocked the world when they traded for Utah Jazz big Rudy Gobert –especially because of how much they gave up (spoiler: it was a lot). Gobert’s fit next to Karl-Anthony Towns, on paper, isn’t the cleanest.

But we weren’t able to see much of the duo together last season due to a calf injury that limited Towns to just 29 games. Anthony Edwards and the Wolves barely made the playoffs before getting eliminated by the eventual champion Denver Nuggets.
