Ben Tate has found a new home. The Minnesota Vikings will be the next destination for the five-year pro. This news is highly fascinating when you think of what the implications are regarding Adrian Peterson. With the addition of Ben Tate this most likely all but ends Adrian Peterson’s run with the team. The Vikings backfield will now include Matt Asiata, rookie Jerick McKinnon, and Ben Tate. A change of scenery will most likely help Tate as he was only averaging 3.1 yards per carry on the season for Cleveland. The Vikings will play the Packers Sunday as Tate is expected to make his debut. A side note in regard to Adrian Peterson look for the Dallas Cowboys to be major players for his services next season. Peterson attended Oklahoma which happens to be where current Cowboy DeMarco Murray attended school. A.P. could very well be the complementary back for Murray next season.
