Vendetta Sports Media’s SimBull Six Week 7 Picks

Our partners at SimBull introduced a new contest called the “SimBull Six” and Karl Heiser and Adam Krieger will give you our picks each week. I went 1-2 last week like I always do, but Karl also joined in my losing ways going 1-2 himself to put us under .500 at 17-19.

No. 16 Wake Forest (-3) vs. Army (+3) – Karl’s Pick

Pick: Wake Forest (-3)
Wake Forest has played some very close games recently, but they’ve managed to come out on top in all of them. I trust their offense to make things happen. Army is coming off two straight losses, including one to Ball State. Give me the Demon Deacons by a field goal.

No. 8 Oklahoma State (+7) vs. Iowa State (-7) – Karl’s Pick

Pick: Oklahoma State (+7)
This almost seems too good to be true. Oklahoma State is red-hot. They might be a touch overrated in the polls, but no so much that I would expect them to lose by a whole touchdown to Iowa State. The Cyclones haven’t impressed me this season. I’m riding with the Cowboys.

USC (+7) vs. No. 13 Notre Dame (-7) – Karl’s Pick

Pick: Notre Dame (-7)
The Fighting Irish turn out to be frauds every year, but their only loss so far is against a very good Cincinnati team. USC has had a fairly weak schedule and have been very inconsistent. Notre Dame will be far and away the best team they’ve faced so far. As much as I can’t stand them, give me the Irish at home in a convincing win.Yesterday

 Chiefs (-5.5 ) vs Titans (+5.5) – Adam’s Pick

Pick: Chiefs -5.5
Super tough game here to pick ATS. The Chiefs in my mind are a way better football team despite their play up until this point in the season. I just think this is a huge letdown spot for the Titans. Coming off a huge Monday Night Football upset over the Bills, Mike Vrabel and the boys might not have it in them in back-to-back weeks.

Colts (+4 ) vs 49ers (-4) – Adam’s Pick

Pick: 49ers -4
The run of great Sunday Night Football games comes to an end this week with a pretty boring matchup. The Colts had such high expectations after bringing in Carson Wentz but have not performed thus far. With Jimmy G coming back this week Kyle Shanahan will have his boys ready for a playoff push.

Seahawks (+5 ) vs Saints (-5) – Adam’s Pick

Pick: Seahawks +5
No Russell Wilson, No Problem (I think). For real though this is a fade my brain play. There is no reason why Seattle should have a chance to win this game with GENO SMITH leading the offense. My brain says the Saints, but I suck at these picks anyway so tail me with caution.
