It’s with a heavy heart that I must announce I am leaving my post as a Vendetta Sports Media employee. It hasn’t been an easy decision and one I’ve had many sleepless nights over, but I feel it is the right move given the circumstances. My piece on British TV Sitcom Father Ted will be my last piece as I say…Vendetta Sports Media I Quit.
I have enjoyed my time immensely with the renegade sports network. It gave me an outlet for my soccer musings and was also the first time I wrote about hockey in any capacity. Trey was nothing but supportive and I am indebted to him for all he did. However, once it became clear I would never be invited to go on the ‘Tanndemonium Sports Show’ after a few disagreements with Bryan I had to reevaluate my life.
With my dream of being on the third (or possibly fourth) best podcast on the Vendetta Sports Media network, I feel like it would be a waste of time to continue this charade. I mean I have been on the flagship (and probably best) show in ‘That’s Some Cheese’ but it means nothing if I can’t be on a subpar second-rate ‘Tanndemonium Sports Show’. I’m heartbroken.
For those who have read my work, I thank you. I also want to single out Andrew McGuinness as someone to watch. Every time I read one of his articles it felt like I learned something. Whether it was a stat line or the way he worded things.
I wish Vendetta Sports Media nothing but the best. Trey in particular. The guy is a machine and deserves all the success he is going to achieve in his career.
And lastly, I just want to say… SIKE! If you truly believe I give two fucks about what a hack like Bryan thinks of me you need to get to know me a bit better! Thanks for the laughs you’ve given me these last couple of weeks Bryan. I know it wasn’t intentional as you’re not in the slightest bit funny but just know I’m laughing AT you, not WITH you.
You can’t offend me, buddy. I’m 100% Irish, we have this thing called a sense of humor. You should try it sometime.
