Vendetta Productions Presents…

Before I get started I have a genuine question to ask… who do I contact at Vendetta to commission the first-ever ‘Vendetta Productions Presents…’ full-length movie? Cause I have the best idea ever. And if ‘Work It’ can be commissioned by Netflix there is no way we ain’t getting a deal. For what you ask!?! Let me explain.

It all starts with Alex Chick getting kicked off the basketball team for playing Kanye West’s ‘The Life of Pablo’ too much during pre-game preparations. The Chickster needs one more extracurricular activity to graduate but only one class is available… Dance.

While Alex does a mean Robot it won’t be enough to win state. There’s also the small problem of having to put a team together. Of course, BFF Garrett is in. He’d do anything for his twin brother from a different mother. However, they still need four more to get the minimum six.

Scott Logush is their obvious first choice with his line-dancing and Vendetta Playlist background but getting him across the border proves more difficult than expected. Next up is Jarrod Prosser. He’s done every other sport so why not dance. Then they get lucky with the raw talents of Jackson Law and Bryan Tann joining the team.

Now all they need is a mentor.

Enter dance major (minus one credit) Trey Daubert as the slo-mo hits and his flowing locks blow in the wind. The team is so bad though by the end he is as bald as an egg. He tries to teach them but when you just don’t have the natural abilities of dance major (minus one credit) Trey it’s hard.

Just when it looks like everything is doomed, the group starts to click (it’s Netflix we have to have a happy ending) and the team, with the help of mentor Trey go all the way to State and wins.

Alex graduates but more importantly finds himself getting lost in mentor Trey’s eyes. Is love blossoming? What happens to the rest of the team? Commission the first-ever ‘Vendetta Productions Presents…’ and all will be revealed.

I’m also aware none of these people could pass for high schoolers (except maybe the one who actually is) but if James Van Der Beek can portray Dawson Leery for six seasons, then Alex, Garrett and Jackson can pass for teenagers as well. Bryan and Jarrod admittedly may be more of a stretch.
