Tyrone Tracy Reveals Who He Wants The Giants To Draft At Quarterback

Tyrone Tracy was a hit as a rookie. So was Malik Nabers. The problem is the Giants still don’t have a quarterback, nor an offensive line that can actually block anybody. Until those ladder two things change, the Giants will continue to suck.

Speaking of quarterback, it’s safe to say who Tracy wants the Giants to pick on draft day. The only problem is Cam Ward may not be there when New York picks third overall but time will tell on that.

“To be honest with you, I’m a fan of Cam Ward,” Tracy told Brandon London of the New York Post. “Just because I think the passing and the running, that’s where the league is shifting to, and just off of Dabes’ offense, we have a whole bunch of quarterback runs and situations where the quarterback has to run.

“I’m not saying other quarterbacks in the draft can’t run. I just know Cam Ward is the best off of film. He’s my favorite.”

Tracy, 25, rushed for 839 yards on 192 carries and scored five touchdowns for the Giants this past season. He also added 284 additional receiving yards too. It was a successful rookie season for the former converted wide receiver.

Tracy may want Cam Ward but he also made it clear his opinion on the matter likely will carry zero weight on what the franchise will actually do.

“Obviously, my opinion holds zero weight. I do want to put that out there. My opinion holds zero weight,” he said with a laugh.

Here’s my question. Why should Joe Schoen’s opinion matter? Especially after Saquon Barkley has forever ruined the sleep of John Mara?
