It Turns Out Nick Foles Is Horrible

The dumbest narrative in sports is the Philadelphia fan clamoring for Nick Foles to be their quarterback. While the Eagles are down right now, Nick Foles is proving to be unplayable. The Jaguars made a massive mistake signing Foles and it looks more and more obvious that Foles just flat out stinks. The Super Bowl run was a fluke.

This past offseason, Jaguars signed Foles to a four-year deal worth $88 million with $45.125 million guaranteed to be paid over the first two years. It will go down as the worst signing in the NFL this past offseason. Jacksonville is stuck with Foles and he can’t play. In games started by the former Super Bowl hero, the Jags are 0-3 and have been outscored 103-44 with Foles under center. Foles has been bad all year. Well, I should say when he plays. Foles missed how many weeks with the broken clavicle. In games started by Foles, the Jags are 0-4. Jacksonville is 4-4 in games started by Gardner Minshew.

Jacksonville is stuck with him. If they cut Foles, they would have to eat $34 million and $19 if they trade him. Nobody is trading for Foles. You can say whatever you want about Carson Wentz. Philadelphia absolutely made the right decision. You’re telling me you would rather have Nick Foles who just got benched by rookie 6th round pick, Gardner Minshew? Don’t be that guy.

This is another example in the long line of examples. STOP PAYING AVERAGE QUARTERBACKS BIG MONEY! This Foles contract didn’t make sense at the time and it looks WAY worse now. The Jaguars have a Nick Foles problem and it’s because he stinks.
