Comedian Bert Kreischer’s upcoming film The Machine has finally gone and released an official trailer. The film, based on a 23-year-old story about when Kreischer helped the Russian mob rob a train, has also been given an official release date.
Basing The Machine on a story like Kreischer’s was always going to be an interesting premise. The biggest hurdle would be trying to find people with the passion to go forward with it. But based on the trailer the folks at Legendary Entertainment, Sony Pictures and world-famous actor Mark Hamill are definitely passionate about this film.
The trailer shows off the funny and violent hijinks Kreischer and Hamill, Kreischer’s father in the film, get up to while trying to avoid Iva Babić’s character. Who is striving for revenge on Kreischer after what he and his buddies did on that train 23 years ago. From lighting cigars with Kalashnikovs to triple headshots, blood and absurdity are on full display here.
The Machine is slated to release exclusively into theatres on May 26, with tickets already available for purchase. The trailer promises a lot of fun to go along with it. Hopefully it will live up to that promise when it finally releases.
