Tony Jones Jr was an undrafted running back out of Notre Dame. After barely playing his freshman year, Jones had a decent career. He totaled 1,481 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, 273 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns. Standing at 5’11, 224 pounds, Jones looks to take over the Latavius Murray in the New Orleans Saints offense. Jones can run the ball well between the tackles and with his 4.68 speed, he can move a little bit.

The big reason to buy into Tony Jones Jr is his path to playing time. Jones is currently listed as the second running back on the New Orleans Saints’ depth chart. Latavius Murray was cut by the same Saints team, it’s incredibly clear that Sean Peyton believes in Tony Jones Jr. He will serve as the backup to Alvin Kamara, and seemingly the power back for short-yardage or goal-line situations. That’s a touchdown vulture waiting to happen, and those points can be the difference between you winning and losing.
