NBA PREDICTIONS FOR 3-2-21, PLAYER PROP PARLAYS BELOW

MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES AT WASHINGTON WIZARDS 7:05PM ET

The Grizzlies continue to be an exciting young team even though they are a little sporadic. They will come into this game rested and fired up after blowing the Rockets out 133 to 84 this past Sunday. They won without any player on the team playing over 28 minutes, and the bench had 85 total points. On the other hand, the Wizards lost to the Celtics by 1 even though Bradley Beal had 46 points on 16-29 shooting. Russell Westbrook had 24 points 11 rebounds and 4 assists. I like the Grizzlies in this one, especially with Justice Winslow looking good off his return from injury. They also have good perimeter defenders who should be able to give Westbrook a tough time. Beal will get his 30 and no one will stop him. Jonas Valunciunas is set up to have a potential 15 and 15 game against a poor interior defense made up of Mo Wagner, Robin Lopez, and the former #1 pick Alex Len.

I lean to the Under 237, the Grizzlies scored 133 points in their last game and I don’t see them getting near that again. Grizzlies MoneyLine is my play here.

ATLANTA HAWKS AT MIAMI HEAT 7:35PM ET

John Collins balled out on Sunday in their loss to the Heat, one of his potential offseason signing spots. He had 34 points, 10 rebounds, and shot over 60%. Other than Jimmy Butler being out, the rest of this Heat team is healthy. Jimmy Butler being out will mean a lot more spacing for this Heat team. Bam Adebayo will be be surrounded by 3-4 good 3 point shooters the whole game, and I’m not saying Butler can’t shoot, but compare his 3 point shot to Duncan Robinson, Kendrick Nunn, Tyler Herro, and even Kelly Olynk. The Heat have momentum at home while the Hawks will be without Kris Dunn, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and De’Andre Hunter as well as their coach Lloyd Pierce was fired yesterday.

The Heat will win this game due to their depth and energy at home. Look for Bam Adebayo to have a big game as well as Kendrick Nunn or Tyler Herro. I lean the Under 222 but prefer the MoneyLine and then the Heat Spread -4. This is one of my favorite NBA Predictions today.

LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS AT BOSTON CELTICS 7:35PM ET

Jaylen Brown is questionable again tonight after sitting Sunday’s game out against the Wizards. The Celtics are 10-5 at home while the Clippers are 12-6 on the road. The problem with Boston is even if Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum play, they still aren’t strong or consistent enough offensively. Kemba Walker is slowly starting to get back to his old self, just two games ago against the Pacers he had 32 points, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds to help get the win. Hopefully, he can continue to improve and play at that level because it will take a hell of a lot of pressure off of Brown and Tatum. The Clippers on the other hand are a problem, dominant on both offense and defense. Led by Kawhi averaging 27 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists and Paul George averaging 23 points 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.

I’m going to ride with the Clippers MoneyLine or to cover the spread +4. The Celtics are missing Marcus Smart and until Kemba can string together a couple of good games, I wouldn’t bet against legitimate championship contenders in this situation.

NEW YORK KNICKS AT SAN ANTONIO SPURS 8:35PM ET.

Thank God Texas doesn’t open up to 100% capacity till next week, or the Knicks would’ve been in some trouble. But since that’s not the case, I’ll explain why I convinced myself to take the Knicks -1.5 Spread.

The Spurs played on Saturday night against one of the faster teams in the NBA in the Pelicans, and won 117-114. Then they played the highest scoring team in the league last night in the Nets. The game went to overtime thanks to a crazy buzzer beater by Dejounte Murray, but the Nets then pulled away to get the W, 124-113. DeRozan played 42 minutes and everyone other then Trey Lyles in their starting lineup played over 36 minutes, so this team should be exhausted. Tonight they have to play a top 3 defense in the league as well as a young motivated team, the Spurs are motivated as well, but this weekend will be tough for them to just walk off. Taj Gibson is expected to be out for the Knicks and I think that’s a positive. We should see more Randle or Obi at the 5 other than Noel and that will help push the pace. I expect Coach Thibs to push the pace tonight. The Spurs definitely have a good chance to take the game, just have to hope their legs aren’t tired.

I like Knicks MoneyLine or to cover -2.

DENVER NUGGETS AT MILWAUKEE BUCKS 9:05PM ET

The Nuggets are right back at it tonight following yesterday’s 118-112 win over the Bulls and unfortunately for them their starting lineup had to play a good amount of the 4th quarter to help secure the win against a fiesty Bulls team. The Bucks look like they have found their offensive rhythm, coming off of a win against the Clippers.

I like the Bucks -7 to cover. Milwaukee is one of the best teams in the league in terms of scoring in the paint and the Nuggets have no one to match up with Giannis or even Brook Lopez or Bobby Portis. Giannis is going to tire this Nuggets team out if they aren’t already from last night. Bucks  MoneyLine or to cover the Spread -7!

PHOENIX SUNS AT LOS ANGELES LAKERS 10:05PM ET

The Suns are looking for their 3rd straight victory, while Devin Booker has had 33 points, 22 points, and 43 points in their last 3 games. I can see the Suns trying and succeeding at winning out until the All-Star Break while the Lakers are hoping it would come faster. The difference here is that the Lakers are 6-12 Against the Spread in their last 18 while Phoenix is 11-2 in their last 13 Against the Spread.

I lean over 214.5 due to the potential this game has of becoming a shootout. I like Phoenix as MoneyLine Underdogs, I don’t see CP3 or Booker slowing down.
