Here’s why: I knew that when they got Jusuf Nurkic and CJ McCollum back, they would be the team to beat in the west. With only Damian Lillard as the star player, he carried the team into the All-Star break as the number 5 seed.
Now that McCollum is back, Lillard does not have to carry the team solely on his back. He has helped. With Nurkic out for another month. That will be another reinforcement added for this team. Last night against the Mavericks both players scored 30+ in a win.
