Terry Rozier Sucks, It’s Becoming Very Obvious

I never want to overreact to one game in the NBA, but in this instance, I have no choice. The other night, I was watching the Kemba Walker homecoming game against the Hornets in Charlotte. It was Kemba Walker and Terry Rozier squaring off against their old teams. The Celtics bested the Hornets 108-87 in a game that was over in a heartbeat. Again, I hate to overreact to just one game but I had one takeaway that can’t be ignored. Terry Rozier sucks. There’s not much more to say. He’s awful. The Celtics are MUCH better off without him.

Terry Rozier cried like the coward that he is this offseason how great he is and that he deserved more touches. That’s besides the fact that Rozier was 2nd on the Celtics in touches last season. I would go as far as to say, I hated Rozier. This guy had no self-awareness with the C’s. Come off the bench and jack up as many terrible shots as possible. That was Rozier’s M.O. Predictably, nothing has changed with the Hornets.

Rozier never shot 40 percent in any season with Boston. Guess what? He’s not shooting 40 percent with Charlotte either. Granite small sample size (8 games) Rozier is shooting .385 percent with the Hornets. That’s god awful. Nothing has changed. He’s not good at basketball. 32 minutes a night of terrible basketball. He’s another Isaiah Thomas that should send Brad Stevens thank you cards for making him relevant. Terry Rozier in a bigger role with the Hornets is proving he’s still bad at basketball.

In a “revenge game” against the Celtics, Rozier went 1-11 from the floor. I watched the game. Rozier was virtually unplayable. In fact, I’d go as far as to say Devonte’ Graham is better. Actually, I don’t think there’s a sane person on the planet that would disagree. Terry Rozier is making over $20 million per year and a minimum contract level player is way better than him.

It’s time to start recognizing just how bad Rozier is. This was a con job from the beginning. I couldn’t believe the Hornets gave him the money at the time and now it’s looking like more and more of a joke. Terry Rozier sucks. 3 more years of hell is coming for Charlotte.
