The Sports Media Industry Is Still Stuck At The Gas Station

Hi. Trey here. Just want to stop by for a quick chat. Given everything that’s happened recently, let’s talk about what’s really going on with this sports media industry right now. Everybody else is borderline irrelevant, who resembles the loser in high school who spent too much time at the gas station while also simultaneously causing a nuance for no reason.

The real kicker?

Even the smart people in this industry can’t leave the gas station loser vibes behind. They might leave high school behind, but not the gas station vibes.

Yes, even the smartest people in the industry are controlled.

See, that’s the thing with Switzerland. Everybody thinks they just played both sides and stayed neutral. That’s not what happened. They got rich by doing it. That’s sports media today, and it epitomizes everything I’ve been talking about.

The people who see and observe are very aware.

Let’s stop the act…

We’ve passed the point of plausible deniability. You saw it. You know. And now you don’t know how to act. So you pretend it didn’t happen. But it did, and we’re just getting started.

Where do I even start?

It’s borderline embarrassing that the entire fantasy community has coined the phrase “Finding the next Bucky Irving” and not one person decided to come talk to me about how I came to that conclusion when the VSM draft team was the only one that knew beforehand?

We have the Craig Breslow story. Where the entire media was asleep at the wheel when he publicly acknowledged he doesn’t understand team building. Then, a few days later, he made a brain-dead trade that nobody knows what to say other than “I’m shocked”.

How many WEEI clips went viral today?

You already know the answer to that.

Yet Greg Hill and their entire network are afraid to talk to me.

My stance on this stuff has never changed. I will retire if you find one person who is unequivocally more talented than me. Except they won’t do it. If I’m so wrong, why will no one have the courage to step up to the plate to prove I’m a fraud? You’ve seen the way the rest of the media acts around me.

Scared.

Mute mode.

Witness protection.

And also Chicago Bears Fans.

Oh, and the Fast Draft furby fetish guy too.

You know why nobody steps up to the plate. I’m at a place way past their fake human programming, so they do the only thing they can do. Run and hide.

Nonsense.

My thoughts and feelings are valid. Only the Chinese Farmer knows all. Maybe, just maybe, more people should take personal offense at things that happen, such as Connor Rogers being a yes man. Millions of people would quite literally die for his opportunity. Yet, even if they’re talented, they’ll never get that shot because of life circumstances. And he wastes it being a yes man.

But I’m the bad guy?

This isn’t a competition.

The game’s over. I’m just here to narrate the funeral.

It’s about who’s smart enough to figure it out.

You will soon see the signs of what’s to come.

They’re so far out of the race, they actually think they’re in the lead.
