Sony Michel Just Totally Sucks
No offense but why must I sit through an NFL Sunday and watch Sony Michel on my TV? I’m not saying Michel wasn’t somewhat talented once upon a time but can anyone explain to me why that bum is still in the league? Carrying Michel on your roster should be considered malpractice and is basically fireable.
Michel signed with the Dolphins this offseason but didn’t make their roster. Instead, Miami carried four other backs instead including Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed. You know you stink if you can’t make THAT RB room.
Michel was quickly scooped up by the Chargers. I just can’t fathom why. Apparently, they liked the stench that was coming from Miami. For whatever reason, the Chargers decided Michel was better than keeping 2021 6th round pick, Larry Roundtree. Oh, and Isaiah Spiller was a healthy scratch to open the season. Of course, Michel went out there in Week 1 and laid a stinker. Seven carries for 12 yards of nothing.
It’s not Michel’s fault. The dude has bad knees. It definitely made picking Michel in the first round insane. But the reality is here this guy is going to decline at a much faster rate than other backs. Michel wasn’t impressive with the Rams. The Patriots got rid of him for a mid round pick after years of mediocre production. This puppy is done.
Sony Michel was a good back at Georgia but man this thing is just done. I don’t need to see him on my TV. Put Spiller in the game and see what you have with your young guns. The time to build a winner around Justin Herbert is now. No time to waste playing scrubs. No offense, Sony.
