Skip Bayless Begins His Hate Parade For Bronny James

Skip Bayless hates LeBron James. I really don’t understand why. Skip has always been critical of everything LeBron does. It has been somewhat of a meme, but now Skip is starting to go a little too far by calling out a 17-year-old kid on Twitter.

For context, a video of Bronny throwing down a poster went viral across Twitter.

In response to the video, Skip had this to say on Twitter.

Hey, Bronny … impressive. But your dad would've dunked it left-handed. You sure got away with it, though.

Obviously, people took this as a negative tweet. I will say, it is always hard to tell what a person’s attitude is when just reading a text. Skip went on Undisputed to defend his tweet.

But we have to look at Skip’s entire body of work when it comes to criticizing LeBron. Day and night, Skip Bayless comes up with ways to criticize LeBron or talk about LeBron for a full segment on Undisputed. It is honestly tiring at this point. With that in mind, I don’t really believe Skip was trying to give commentary or play nice with Bronny.

What’s sad is that Skip also stated that Bronny James would be a focal point of Undisputed moving forward. Why is that sad? Because Bronny will never get a fair shot when being talked about on that show. He will just be “LeBron’s son” rather than his own man and ball player. Skip and others in the media will forever compare him to his dad, which is probably something Bronny may never live up to. And you know what, that’s fine. We need to see him go to college, get drafted, and see how his development progresses before giving out these outlandish takes.

So Skip, please stop talking about Bronny until he is at least in college. Your defense is that he is almost 18? In literally any other instance of anything, the “they are almost 18″ argument would not fly. Bronny James in still a kid in high school. Let him have his last few years of childhood in peace.
