SimBull NFL Price Comparisons: Jets and Raiders

SimBull NFL Price Comparison Jets and Raiders

SimBull is an app that you can invest into NFL teams, but the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders have almost the same price but who should you be buying? The teams are almost the same price, but which is worth investing in.

SimJets ($26.99)

The Jets made it clear they are entering a completely new direction and basically are agreeing to start from scratch again. They traded Sam Darnold to the Panthers, ensuring they are going to take a quarterback with the number two overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

They hired Robert Saleh, the former defensive coordinator of the San Francisco 49ers. He has brought in some coaches of his own, and most notably Mike LaFleur. The duo worked under Kyle Shanahan who is regarded as one of the sharpest offensive minds in the entire league.

Not only do they have the number two overall pick, they also have the 23rd overall pick, a selection that was part of the Jamal Adams trade. If Joe Douglas can convert on a few of these draft picks in the future and the new coaching staff can start a new culture, this could be a smart buy. I think this is a team you can snag mid-season in 2021, they are going to lose a lot of games next year, so this won’t get you the initial ROI with dividends.

Sim Raiders ($27.00)

The Raiders are at their 52 week high on SimBull, meaning this is the highest their share prices have been in the last year, but why? They signed an outstanding defensive player in Yannick Ngakoue, but the Raiders are more or less the same team as the team that finished 8-8 in 2020.

It is telling that the SimMarket has a team with Derrick Carr priced the same as a team that is going to roll out a rookie quarterback. The unknowns of rookies usually leaves some hesitant, but the SimRaiders are only one penny more expensive than the SimJets.

The fact that the Raider even beat the Chiefs last year makes me want to get in on the team, but I just can’t buy into the fact that Derrick Carr and Jon Gruden can put together a successful regular season campaign without self destructing.
