Welcome to Vendetta’s SimBull CFB full team breakdowns, where the writers from Vendetta Sports Media will be analyzing all the Power 5 college football programs for their share value on SimBull and next up is The University of Washington. Check out the last breakdown here.
2020 Record: (3-1) (3-1 Pac-12)
2021 Projected Win Total (via MGM): O/U 9
On The Field
The Huskies have gotten off to a rough start losing their first two games. Washington opened week one with a horrible loss to Montana, they were not able to bounce back in week two and took a beating from Michigan losing 31-10. They followed up two ugly losses with a victory of their own defeating Arkansas State. The Huskies have a big game this week against Cal.
QB Dylan Morris has yet to play his best football completing 57% of his throws for 886 yards, four touchdowns, and five interceptions. The offensive woes cannot be put all on Morris as the Huskies leading back, Rich Newton, is averaging just 46 yards per game. The defense looked better against Arkansas State, but that Michigan loss is going to be hard to shake.
In The Market
With a price tag of $39.91, Washington is the fourth most expensive team in the Pac-12. For a team that has started 1-2, I am still surprised the number is as high as it is. Washington’s remaining games will be played against only Pac-12 opponents. They should be able to get two victories in their next two matches as they play Cal and Oregon State. However, they have two really touch matchups late in the season. The Huskies play UCLA and Oregon, both ranked teams who have huge wins this season. UCLA beat LSU and Oregon beat Ohio State in Columbus. The share price is a little high for a team that is 1-2 and has not played their hardest games yet.
