SimBull 2021 CFB Full Team Breakdown: University of Missouri

Welcome to Vendetta’s SimBull CFB full team breakdowns, where the writers from Vendetta Sports Media will be analyzing all the Power 5 college football programs for their share value on SimBull and next up is the Univesity of Missouri. Check out the last breakdown here.

2020 Record: 5-5 (5-5 SEC)

2021 Projected Win Total (via MGM): 7

On The Field

Missouri opened up in 2021 with a victory over Central Michigan as they enter week 4 with a record of 2-1, the Tigers have looked pretty good. Mizzou plays Boston College this week who is 3-0 but they will be without their quarterback Phil Jurkovec for a couple of weeks. Despite the weak opponents, Missouri’s offense has been extremely potent scoring over 40 points per game. The QB-RB tandem of Conner Bazelak and Tyler Badie has been one of the nations’ best. Bazelek has thrown for over 900 yards and nine touchdowns while Badie has rushed for almost 400 in their first three games.

The defense is the question mark for the Tigers as all three teams they have played scored more than 24 points, including Kentucky who put up 35 points in a Missouri loss. Their schedule from here on out is mostly SEC teams including Georgia, Florida, and Arkansas.

In The Market

The SimTigers have a share price of $42.16 which is a little rich for my likings. Out of the SEC teams, Missouri has the 7th highest share price which I thought was a little surprising. For example, you could get Arkansas at $34.49 which is almost eight bucks cheaper than Mizzou and they have a better record. If you haven’t bought stock in Mizzou, I would stay right where you are. As they enter their heavy SEC schedule, the games become harder and I don’t think Missouri has the pieces to compete with Alabama or Georgia. The price tag is too high and I don’t see a ton of value, spend your money somewhere else.
