The Seahawks have agreed to a deal to bring backup quarterback Tarvaris Jackson back to Seattle. Fox Sports’ Mike Garafolo broke the story.
Jackson spent the last two seasons backing up Russell Wilson and is considered to be one of the more trusted backups in the league. With only R.J. Archer on the roster the Seahawks hoped all along to bring back Jackson. The nine year vet started 14 games with Seattle prior to the arrival of Russell Wilson. Jackson also met with Miami but decided it was best to return to Seattle. Jackson’s best season came back in 2008 when he lead the Vikings to a 10-6 record.
