Sarah Nurse Rocks
I won’t lie to you; I haven’t stopped thinking about what Sarah Nurse did during the skills competition at the 2023 NHL All-Star game. I feel like I understand Emma Brown better today. Regardless of who she’s complaining to at her Valentine’s Day pumpkin patch date, I feel like Emma and I became better friends today. More importantly, I want Sarah to know I appreciate her.
I have never been more in tune with the puck bunnies in my life. Did anybody else see Sarah Nurse score on Igor Shesterkin? And… look like that doing.
I just want Sarah to know that put a smile on my face. Igor Shesterkin is no scrub. Sean Allen ranked Shesterkin as a first round goal tender so you know he’s good! (insert Sean Allen sarcasm. Shesterkin is goalie six on the year sooo you can figure out the math on your own). That’s Shesterkin we’re talking about. That’s last year’s Vezina winner and Sarah put him right in her pocket.
Words cannot properly explain what I saw and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. I know the Florida Panthers offered her a job to run a girls’ hockey program. Vendetta Sports may not have the resources that the Panthers do but I want Sarah to know that Trey’s saying what’s up. I like your vibe. We can take step two wherever you see fit.
Also, I’m a big fan of Darnell Nurse too. He’s an OG member of the Icing Daubert fantasy team that won the title in year one. Us bald guys that like to fight have to stick together. Darnell is a foxhole guy and I respect it. Take that for whatever it’s worth.
Side note: My friends Ryan and Jamie just got back from New Orleans. They got me VGK beads. I haven’t totally come up with what I want to do but I feel like they need to be involved for the upcoming hockey guy Trey videos. Pecs out for the goals?
